Wasn't Going to Blog Today...But Obama Haters Pissed Me Off

I was reading the overwhelming news this morning about "The Man's" school speech that will be televised on Tuesday. President Obama will be speaking to students directly during school hours about the importance of staying in school and working hard. Some how Republicans still found a way to make this notion negative.

"As far as I am concerned, this is not civics education — it gives the appearance of creating a cult of personality," said Oklahoma Republican state Sen. Steve Russell. "This is something you'd expect to see in North Korea or in Saddam Hussein's Iraq."

This really urks me to no end. We have a man in office who wants to focus on the education in this country and people find a way to get pissed about it. Grow up or move to Mexico. Let's see how you like the education system there ;)
