My sister called me at my office on Friday and told me my father was diagnosed with the swine flu. In true Jenny Marie fashion, I had an anxiety attack. After talking to a lot of different people and doing some research, I found out that the Swine Flu is just as threatening as the ordinary flu. The media has definitely made it out to be some sort of plague that will ruin us all. That is not the case. If you are healthy (my father is a runner & ran marathons...get on his level) then you will be just fine.
I am happy to say that Mr. Miranda is feeling a lot better and even returned to work yesterday. Dad you freakin ROCK!
*Side Note: SWINE FLU DOES NOT COME FROM PORK....BRING ON THE CHULETAS!!!!!!
