Brooklyn, Clowns, Mounds and Automobiles Underground Clown Clothing Launches Their First Line in Fall 2009

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York City (October 5, 2009)— Frank Kozlowsky and his business partner Craig Mills (Brooklyn, NY Natives) wanted to create a clothing line that not only represented their personalities but also where they came from. Growing up in Coney Island, there was no surprise that owner Frank Kozlowsky would be influenced by clowns. The collision shop owner is widely known for his customize car designs and even got one of his custom cars featured on MTV. One day, he decided to turn some of his ideas into T-shirts.
“Why a clown? Clowns are often portrayed as emotionally unstable or even psychotic. The jester was the only one who dared talk back to a king. In fact that was his purpose, to think outside the box…” said Frank Kozlowsky.
The Underground Clown developed their very first T-shirt in early 2009 and is now quickly moving into hats and accessories. A portion of the proceeds will go to Mr. Cory “Face” Pelzer, a dear friend of owner Kozlowsky.
“A son, little brother, gentleman and dear friend, to numerous charities, funds and causes worldwide for a better world, and to add a bit of light to a world that is sometimes viewed as dark,” said Kozlowsky.
